BIOGRAPHY

With her debut album set to be released in November, and signing with stalwarts of the Electro Swing and Nu Jazz scenes, Freshly Squeezed Music, Sonia is carving out her distinctive style, influenced by her Eastern European heritage. As well as earning features on several Spotify editorial playlists including: New Music Friday UK and Jazz UK, and radio support from BBC Introducing, previous collaborations made her name on the Electro Swing scene.

Influenced by the likes of Lily Allen (delivery) and Mark Ronson (production), Sonia’s gig history correspondingly swerves from London’s world-famous Pizza Express (with her 7 piece jazz band) to the Electro Swing night at Shoreditch’s The Book Club.
