With spring getting into full swing, we welcome you back to Freshly Squeezed news and a round-up of all we have been doing over the past month!

CUT CAPERS ANNOUNCE NEW ALBUM AND NEW VIDEO RELEASED

First and foremost, the brilliant 9 piece band from Bristol ‘Cut Capers’ have announced their second studio album ‘Metropolis’ and is set to be released on the 10th May. It’s an incredibly exciting album with funk, hip hop and neo soul influnces in it, and we at Freshly Squeezed can’t wait for you to hear it!

Before then however, their new single and video ALRIGHT capture the cheeky spirit of this band brilliantly and show just why it is they regularly attract comparison to MADNESS in their heyday. Not quite shot in one take, it’s still pretty hard to see where the joins are in this one…    (VIDEO AT THE BOTTOM OF THIS PAGE)

NEW SWINGROWERS VIDEO FILMED

Secondly, we have recently had the ‘Swingrowers’ over from Italy doing a UK tour but still managed to find time to film a great video for their forthcoming single ‘DREAMLAND’. Keep watching this space for more details soon, or catch them on their worldwide tour in places such as the USA, Canada and Europe.

THE SWING BOT – NEW EP AND VIDEO

Yet another video release, this time a brilliantly simple, low-budget dance sequence to accompany this anonymous fFrench Swing House producer’s new EP. We loved this one in the office for its arty-ness and consistency of style.
