Charlie Beale’s fiery blend of vintage funk, swing, jazz and delta blues, all given a 21st Century shot in the arm, first gained him recognition with releases such as BREAKIN’ DOWN BLUES EP (2015) contributing to the emergence of an Electro Blues scene which was much imitated worldwide. Spotify launched their own Bluestronica playlist and many like-minded artists appeared at the club nights and on compilation albums run by the label in both their hometown of Brighton and around the UK Festival circuit. The DEJA BOOZE EP (2015) followed with further spots on the ELECTRO BLUES compilations from Freshly Squeezed. Charlie then intermittently released a series of bootlegs and various funk-based records while travelling the world. Now he is set to return with a new EP that will give a further twist to the tale…
