ALANNA LYES is a British singer, pianist and songwriter. At the peak of the electro swing zeitgeist, Alanna became the go-to session singer and top-line writer for the scene. Her melodic hooks and sultry, playful vocals can be heard on hit songs for labels including Freshly Squeezed, Wagram, Ragtime Records, EST and Adapted.

Taking creative control, she subsequently decided to focus instead on her solo path. Working with guest producers and the label Freshly Squeezed, she began a long-form album project LIES HERE, dropping down the tempo but turning up the heat to create a smouldering new sound that is all her own. Closer to a dark pop aesthetic.

Following critical acclaim for LIES HERE, Alanna continues her collaborations with producers including Atom Smith, Riff Kitten and Odd Chap. Across every release, one thing is true. Alanna’s songwriting and vocals are deeply personal, emotionally evocative, irresistibly catchy and instantly memorable.
