modal PROJEKT combines the organic tones of ambient modular synthesis with guest musicians from the world of jazz and beyond. His subtle electronic sound beds and beats perfectly compliment their improvised free flowing ‘modal’ s0los (i.e single key solos build on ‘modes’ most famously explored in Miles Davis’ ‘Kind of Blue’ album). Guests to date have included luminaries from the Danish contemporary jazz scene, a former Young British Jazz Musician of the Year and Bennett Holland from Jube Music.

Originally first conceived by the multi platinum award winning Danish producer and songwriter, Per Ebdrup (well known for Swing Republic among others) modal PROJEKT is something he works at on in his downtime late at night in his home studio.

After a string of singles, his debut album ELECTRONIC ORGANIC was released in August 2021.
